I'm curious, if a recreational marijuana dispensary wanted to open up 70 feet from your church, would you care?   I realize it's not quite the same thing but wondering if you feel the same way.  

I will say 1000 feet is ridiculous, the Baptist Church I attend is only 300 feet from one bar and no one complains.
