Western Oregon | Clarification, the clinic is not taking new Medicare patients and since it has been more than 3 years since I saw the doctor, I have to go on a waiting list. The clinic has become affiliated with the Salem Hospital group since I went on Medicare. I only saw that doctor twice after my doctor retired 15 years ago, once for an infection and once as a follow-up to an ER visit for a sharp pain in my shoulder, other than the Medicare baseline visit. The visit to the ER was checking to make sure it wasn't having a heart attack. Had all the tests in ER, was told, "they saw a shadow". Went through all the tests at the heart doctor. I saw him as a follow-up. He set me up for some imaging tests at that visit, on left shoulder. The technician there, read them and sent to my doctor. I went to wife's doctors appointment in the same building a few days later and someone from his office (someone I had never met) came and talked to me in the waiting room. Said nothing was found and wanted to know if I wanted to make an appointment. I said guess not, since they didn't find anything. Never heard anything more from doctor. The shoulder issue is from a hand injury and loss of tendons at 19 that has gotten worse from shrinking of the remaining tendons causing a shoulder blade injury that has weakened my left arm and shoulder, to where I can hardly lift my left arm.
Sorry for being so long winded....James | |
