It seems as you got stuck with a Fast Close system. They have many limitations and often have difficulty at low rates since it is extremely difficult to control the lower rates with a Fast Close valve. With high rates on corn with long roots, many "get by" with the Fast Close systems but some of us with experience on both sides of the bench and in the tractor seat, disapprove of them. Their only advantage is that a single Fast Close valve is cheaper than two separate valves.
