New London, Wisconsin | There is a small older, but very nice church near us that no longer has a regular congregation because of a merger. So they or whoever bought it turned it into a non denominational wedding chapel. It's well kept and had been booked quite regularly last I knew.
I have attended several weddings with a newly certified wedding officiant . It's kinda of a popular trend with many folks who want a real ceremony but are not well connected to a church.
For a fee the building is rented to the couple for a few hour timeframe. Most hold a reception elsewhere, so keeping it clean should work well. Just a thought.
