SE IL | "We have a regular attendance of 30 or so."
30 people or 30 families? I would think you would be happy to get rid of one or both of the buildings. Could buy or build something on one level that's more energy efficient and has better access for older congregants. I know this can be a sensitive subject, but it really should be considered. As someone mentioned a day care or community center could utilize it/them. Local guy bought a church building that was built in the 1960s and uses the basement to lodge deer hunters. He put up some walls and furnished the rooms. It has two nice sized bathrooms and a nice kitchen. I don't know if he's utilizing the sanctuary for anything. |
