I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm sure it does with some but I will say I can tell when I'm bidding if I hit your max bid. Sometimes I end up bidding over someone's max bid and sometimes I end up finding it. I've done it on purpose before to see where they're at and have ended up with an item or 2 because I went a little too far. Never done it on an item I didn't want though
