A lot of pumper trucks aren't pump and roll either. Should you go this route make sure it's a cross mount instead of a mid ship. The cross will have a separate engine to power the pump. As far as controls. They're not that complicated. From a distance it looks confusing but each outlet has its own valve and gauge with a master intake and discharge gauge.
