Wisconsin | I agree, a simple, small pump and moderate amount of water is what will work better for most farmers. A typical fire truck is too complicated for the typical fire dept that uses it (small volunteer dept, which is the vast majority of FDs). You might say that one farmer would know one truck better than all the volunteers know all of their trucks, but that farmer probably has help if he's considering a fire truck.
On the other hand, if you have a liquid manure tanker or such, that can be effective also. Presumably you know how to use it well enough to function in the heat of the moment. | |
