Chebanse, IL..... | I haven't read all responses, but I can say that buried cable or fiber optic operations are locally famously notorious for cutting through drainage tile lines which you get to find out about 6 months later when that "wet hole" just keeps getting bigger in your field. Most of the cable gets plowed in with no holes dug. Then you get to try & track down someone to take responsibility and dig it back up. We have found cables laying through our drainage tile. It will probably be a tile that you didn't know existed unless you were the one that put it in 60+ years ago.
You have to be aware that if you attempt to fix it yourself you chance damaging a fiber optic cable costing thousands and thousands of dollars to repair.
Seems like it should be a simple process to get the tile fixed? Not in my experience.
What can you do about it? I don't know....just saying be ready. |
