coast of Maine | A disability policy sounds good but the payout would barely keep the power bills paid.I checked years ago,I could beg more $$ at the corner.I have never covered myself on comp but all others here are covered.It is a substantial cost,,some where near 180,000$ a year for our farm.Had one guy whom injured shoulder when he fell as a snake scared him,,,,true,,,he got paid for 10 years,,just came off it this winter.You can have a payroll co. take out and pay the cost on a daily/weekly basis,this ends the "HOLLY Smokes" monthlies.I had Workmens Liability policy before,,,not good anymore as lawyers will get it all regardless unless comp is boughten. | |
