Was a few still used in the Big horn Basin around Powell Wy before I left there 8 years ago. Lots of Noise, not much production. I heard $60-80 a ton cost . Maybe 4 ton hour production. Lots of maintenance needed. releasing Water added for alfalfa's natural glue. Still a few sitting around
There were a few more in the Lander/Riverton area as well. They were going strong when I was still traveling up there working on balers. Not a fast process for sure! |
