West-Central IL | Have had data sync issues with one of the planters all year.
Both have gen2 with ipad in them.
During a rain delay I had a climate rep here helping me fix sync issues.
On fieldview I have very specific field names and well defined mapped boundaries. I also took the time to input only the hybrids we use in the iPads and make sure they were synced.
Much of my problem was after the 20/20 was connected and we started planting we suddenly were seeing 100's of hybrids show up on the list instead of the 8 I had input. We also had over 100 old field names showing up that did not match the names of the "correct" fields that had the drawn boundaries.
(These are old hybrids and fields from over the years that are no longer current, at least one of these 20/20s has been in use here since 2014)
I don't believe they're coming from fieldview back to the 20/20. Many of these fields and hybrids that were showing back up were from well before we ever had an iPad hooked to the thing. (Only trying that the last 3 yrs and its been kind of a mess)
I told the climate rep that i had manually deleted all hybrids from the 20/20 last year.
He said on the gen2 it is a problem and it can't be done. They'll show back up.
He Indicated I will need to do a factory reset on the 20/20
