southern MN | Many phones and simple apps and web sites will do things in order as you type them in, so it takes the first 17, adds the second 17, and multiplies this result by 25. They are very simple and linear they do not watch the entire calculation for the correct order of operations.
Many people aren’t too sure about the correct order of operations either, so there is that too of course.
