East Central, Nebraska | this isn't going to help but i have a steer command on a new holland tractor that drops out approximately 10 minutes after i accept the steering warning on the display. whatever the time, i am certain its the exact same amount of time, every time. i move around the 6500 and 7500 gps devices and incommand monitors and regardless of configuration it happens every time. the satellite will go grey for about 30 seconds and I stop and wait and it comes back and i never have a problem the rest of the day. point being, your story is absolutely relatable but i believe my situation lays completely in my steer command where it sounds like you have tried to swap that out and eliminated it. my situation outside of me being certain its in the steer command is similar to yours as the other devices i may be exporting gps to (including gen2 and gen3 precison displays) will continue to work fine as yours does. you now have me wondering if there isn't a little more to my situation.
your cih tractor and my new holland tractor have nearly identical factory installed steering systems, despite being different colors as far as the steering goes they use the same exact components. i look forward to seeing if you come up with anything. | |
