| Obituaries are their own thing to which few other things compare. On one hand, there is no real vetting/-policing of the content. Often, the folks composing the obit are emotionally impaired-(it's much better for the deceased to create his/her own obituary and give it to the funeral home-)due to the death or it's surrounding circumstances. I read a recent obit that failed to mention the deceased surviving brother. All this can lead to sad/unfortunate content during a time when division should never be promoted. | |
