| Ok, things to consider
I would make sure there aren't any utilities especially water around the area you are regrading. If there are confirm that you aren't going to suddenly make a water pipe above the frost line when you regrade soil on top.
Soil in Iowa usually can hold a 3:1 (33%) slope without failure. I would guess that's the same in MN. That would mean a 4' tall slope needs 12' of width. I wouldn't go steeper than that.
You could use clay or other non organic fill to reshape the slope but I would put 4-6" of topsoil on top. | |
