coast of Maine | It was a storage for sawmill by products , shavings I believe. Several small volunteer firefighters from several towns arrived to stop a fire inside. Details are still tight but 3 owners I know of were there with the firefighters. The silo exploded and witnessing it go 100 ft in the air( it was already an 75 ft or so structure. This explosion and resulting fire caused severe burns on 10 and killed one volunteer. Very sad as just tiny small town people, most are in burn wards in induced comas. I won’t post pictures but it can be seen Robbins Lumber Fire on line , sort of big news as a tragedy no one expected , A very well run company and family that is in rough shape now | |
