west-byGod-Pa. | I recently was pulled over & given a warning for -on a two-lane road in front of a truck stop; flashed my lights & stopped to allow a semi to pull out on highway in front of me. There was no one behind me, but I was cited for “ impeding traffic flow”.
Bureaucracies cannot survive on sensibility or righteousness. It is a bad thing to do a good deed. As the old saying goes: “ no good deed goes unpunished”.
Not the same thing as original post, but makes the same point: bureaucracies are powerless to fix real problems so they make trouble based on stupid stuff just to promote their power & justify their existence. | |
