Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | I used to haul fresh seafood out of Boston. Most of the fish (Cod, Haddock, etc.) were packed in waxed cardboard boxes. Each one would have about 50 pounds of fish and 25-30 pounds of ice. The load had to be kept at 31-33 degrees. As a result you get a lot of ice melt. There’s a couple of drain holes at the rear of the reefer floor. Anyone following too closely got a windshield of dirty fish water. Had many very friendly people waving at me with one finger when they passed. |
