As a Topcon...dealer, do you have any comment on the issue at hand?
Just a geek.....I have no idea what settings are available in Topcon's menus.
What you and Nathan have in common are
1. using commercial grade Trimble receivers using GPS+GAL+GLO most likely,
2. with WISCOR likely using TRIMBLE NETR9, and
3. both living in higher northern latitudes with geomagnetic storms afoot.
Latest Topcon receiver attempts to deal with ionospheric disturbances, but if four good satellites are not received from the same constellation, then stuff happens. As posted before:
Geomagnetic storms - "Dual-Frequency/RTK Receivers (Agriculture, Surveying): Centimeter-level accuracy can degrade. The receiver may lose its "fixed" lock on the signal and revert to a less-accurate "float" mode."
One could contact Topcon's support....there might be a switch to turn on for ionospheric disturbances. That GnssLogger app might shed light on which satellites are good/bad.
