coast of Maine | We have had two of our children get married .The PRE wedding events were held here in one of our equip sheds.Leaving 25 % of the rigging in there to the side.My wife arranged the food/drinks with lots of help.This was a pre wedding party and it was as big or bigger than the receptions post weddings.The guests were from around the world and country.This allowed many to meet for the first time in a relaxed setting.Being in Maine seafood was cooked and served from the boiling pots.This made the wedding event and reception the next day fabulous.These were held at local facilities.We had a bonfire in the yard at the farm and many sat around having a few well into the night.My wife and I picked up the pre wedding event costs as my children wanted to pay their own way on the wedding and reception.They are all well paid professionals.Being from all over the country they wanted an event center with cabins for those from away.Here hotels are scarce an costly in the summer.All in all both were super times ,got to meet many new "family" from away.Was something I recommend highly. | |
