we never had this issue with our old Leica mojoRTK's in all the years we ran them.
I have no idea what the default settings are on higher-end OEM equipment. I'd have to find an user manual for a Trimble NetR9, and sift thru it.
Mosaic-X5, of course using their terms, has several ways to adjust settings:
setCN0Mask - Is set at 32, so any weaker satellites are not considered.
Unknown what default is for these two since I have adjusted them.
setElevationMask, Tracking, -

PVT and CNO determine what gets considered, but Tracking must be the same or lower than PVT.
