Wife and I paid for our own down to the last dime and we put on a fairly nice social deal at the time at a reasonable cost,.......Two of our own kids married on the simple and they paid their own way and we have yet to see a bill, and never asked for a dime from either for a wedding(:>> (one courthouse and another at Niagara falls) We did a simple reception for one of them as the both came from here. IDK, we all are still married and we are doing just fine. 42 years soon for us.
If anyone wants to know what they should spend on a wedding, just as the young couple how much they are willing to shell out of their own pocket or make a loan for to get a legal paper that says they are legally married.
.The more of their own money they are willing to spend and be responsible for, the bigger the party is going to be! Where is it written that the family has to shell out big bucks for the kids to put on a big expensive show?
