I am dubious about the wife's approval story.
When we had the house plans done Amanda said I could put an elk up there if it was “big enough”. I thought it would take me a lifetime to get a trophy bull. Our house was just past framing when my son and I went on a hunt in Colorado. I was planning on just shooting a rag horn or cow for the freezer. I lucked out and killed this bull instead. I sent my wife this picture and asked if this one was big enough to go on the wall. Her answer was YES!
