With farm grade GNSS receivers, if OEM's SNR mask setting is too high for those in northern latitudes, there may not be enough good sats (4 needed) from the same constellation.
GnssLogger can show what SNR values are via C/No: "Carrier-to-Noise Density [C/N0] is a specialized form of Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)"
