Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I agree with the above. Try to track down your "leak" manually by using an air source and a battery.

Remember your Tru-Count clutches should be in the engaged position to plant unless they receive air pressure from the tank. The air is controlled by air valves in the each air valve box. Inside each air valve box there are four air valves which can handle up to four sections.

When the system decides that a section should NOT plant, it completes the circuit to that air valve which allows air to reach the Tru-Counts for that section and causes them to disengage and STOP planting.

In other words with no air or no electricity, the Tru-Counts should remain engaged and plant.

You say when the clutches kick in. By that I assume you mean when the clutches are activated to STOP planting, the air tank is drained. If that is the case, there must be a leak beyond the air valves such as in any of the hoses after the air valve boxes or possibly an internal leak in one of the Tru-Count clutches.

I happen to have the "guts" of a Tru-Count Air Valve box if someone has need. I used Tru-Counts on a previous planter and have these "left over".
