Subject: My map printing problem and solution

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
No help with printing maps from a 20/20 but the post reminded me of a problem I had when I tried printing my planting maps from my iPad using Ag Leader's AgFiniti mobile.

I have an old black/white HP laser for my main printer. It is hard wired to my Win 11 computer.

I also have a fairly new color HP deskjet printer for my color jobs such as our planting maps. This Printer is part of my local network so there is no physical connection other than power to any device. It doesn't get used much.

In the past I have been able to print wirelessly from both the Win 11 computer and my iPad Pro. I use Ag Leader's Ag Finiti mobile with my InCommand 1200 in the planting tractor. They exchange data wirelessly between each other. I had been able to hand carry the iPad to my office and print off my variety maps wirelessly with the HP deskjet.

This time the Ag Finiti App claimed it was not able to find a printer.

The solution turned out to be very simple. To get added range throughout my home, I have added a "nest" arrangement for internet. This means I have more than one choice throughout my home for internet activities. In some areas of the house I must use the nest arrangement. Turns out that my iPad was set to use a different LAN than the printer was connected to. Once I changed the Wi-Fi choice on the iPad, I was able to print as in the past.
