NW Iowa
from a 8816 to a new Mf VF-16 is no comparison.
The 8816 was simple, dual ground drive, air bags, and tru count.
Did a good job if you watched everything.
The 20/20, hyd downforce and the VE units is so much nicer.
And yes i can see it in the stand.
Especially if i push it and with getting every seed size delivered to you from the dealer....
Plant any seed any size any shape. 99.8 singulation or better.
But every farmer needs to look at his cost to upgrade vs conditions and yield.
I would say the precision hyd downforce will add more yield than the VE meters if the factory ones are top shape.
The VE meters paired with the 20/20 are super nice.
Count every kernel and know where it's at. If it says you planted 54.5489 units or 4,363,912 kernels, that's exactly what you did.
But everything needs to talk to each other.
Lots going on. Keep the planters shedded and clean.
