Subject: RE: Deere vs Precision

West Central MN
Larson's Deere meters are the ME5 high speed ExactEmerge which are completely different than the standard speed ME5 meter. The later is Deere's latest evolution of the original decades old vacuum meter.

The standard speed ME5s came on mine and the single best thing ever done to that planter was install Precision eSet meters. There is zero messing with vacuum or double elimintors, load seed and plant. Doesn't matter if the seed is 40 pound flats, 60 pound rounds, or a test plot chaotic mix of everything.

Would electric vSets be nice? Sure, but have zero complaints about the cost effective older PP technology upgrade in my hydraulic drive planter.
