To be more clear....Something is going on with the satellites in the evening on certain days.
I have no idea what features can be turned on/off in Topcon's devices. Based upon Topcon AGS-2 receiver's specs, this model should be able to be selective about which satellites are used.
That said, this news item has been mentioned over/over in past month to my awareness.
