I’m going to get flamed for this but it’s their wedding it’s theirs to pay for.   Wife and I paid for our own wedding and like hell I’ll pay for either of my kids wedding.  Cousin got married 18 months ago my uncle (farm with him) admitted he paid for the rehearsal dinner that was plausible but that’s it.     Flame away.
