Not moving around from place to place is nice and if one of the families needs to travel, -- picking a venue near an airport is very helpful and saves renting cars and so on.
Since I like pork loin, I was pleased to see that a nice pork meal is usually a better value. One suggestion I'd make is that if you are out of your home area, you need a plan to handle any leftovers. How to refrigerate and ship--or a local shelter that can make use of it.
