I’m not hauling interstate. I don’t even cross county lines. The dot website is unnavigable and the people who man the phones are condescending. It’s disturbing that at any time I could be ticketed for a violation hidden in the fine print. And with my stigmatism it’s all fine print.

I got written up for no DOT number visible on a manure truck hauling two miles from dairy to field.
