Subject: RE: FMCSA

coast of Maine
Scrapper,I had an OR trucking co for nearly 20 years.Reason I quit was the constant beatings from Feds. The rates were /are cheap here as some ignore all the rules and just run.Even if a crooked drug dealing drug consuming trucking co is next door the FMCSA is not allowed to investigate.Rules they say.Just go do what the computer says to audit. But the honest guys get the audits /screwings etc.,,So I quit commercial hauling.Just ag plates and exempt miles.Like a dream now.Ignore all the texts /calls from scammers by the 1000's.Do nothing til the day they pull you over.Keep insurance /registrations/licenses up to date and ignore the rest.A local douche runs 100% dark,,no real MC #,no logs,no stopping at tolls,no fuel tickets as pay cash and chuck receipts, runs 80,000 lb loads of bulk spuds(double legal here),no license checks on drivers,no comp ins,no SSremoved, pays cash,no drug test, blows by all DOT stations, runs with coke /meth,oh and have had a fatal at fault a few years back,,...FED FMCSA inspector said "I know of all of that but you cannot stop the crooks no matter what",,,said to my face in my office..He said "inform the state police"...I said thats not in the cards as it is your job.The USA government has issues.
