Subject: RE: Topcon AGS2 RTK fix issue

Tipton, KS
Being located in Manitoba, Canada, there is more atmospherics, and iirc, fewer satellites to use.

"If the HRMS is too high, it indicates poor satellite visibility, high interference, or that the system needs more time to calculate a reliable fix."

I've received some space weather reports recently indicating this

G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm Impacts
Other systems: HF radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes, and aurora has been seen as low as New York and Idaho (typically 55° geomagnetic lat.).

Your receiver's spec says, "Continuously monitors ionospheric conditions and rapidly switches to iono-free combination if ionospheric disturbances have been detected" Is there a way to see if this is happening?

But, if 4 good satellites within a constellation ( GPS, GLONASS,
GALILEO, BeiDou) can't be viewed.....not good.

I would get this app, NTRIPChecker , and see how many satellites your base station is "seeing"

What is the mask elevation setting on your base station? Is RTK2GO being used?
