Subject: S670 combine exhaust temp issue

Southern PA
We bought a new to us S670 last December, haven't been to the field yet, but small grain harvest should start in several weeks. We've started it numerous times over the last month, driving in and out of the shed, doing miscellaneous work to it. The first while we didn't have any issues with anything exhaust temp related, now every time you let it run (idle) more than 5 minutes +/- and shut it off, an alarm sounds and a message pops up on the screen saying to restart the engine and let it idle 10 minutes to cool the exhaust down, or damage to exhaust components may occur. (I may not have worded that 100% correctly, but that's the gist of it)

When you restart it, it will let you shut it off after 10 minutes with no problem. It's not showing an active regen in the corner post, and has no active codes that I can find. I don't think it's done a regen since we bought it, at least I never noticed the regen icon lit up. We haven't run it hard yet, just moving it around some. It didn't do this at first, just started this trick recently.

Have any of you S series owners had this issue? It's a '14 model w/DEF, if that matters. Seems to run fine, but I think it cranks slightly longer than I think it should to start, at least compared to other 9L engines in 8R tractors I've run. Cranking speed is fine, just seems a little slow to fire IMO. I don't know if this is related to the other issue or not, just throwing that in. Maybe it's just the nature of the beast?

Does it just need a good day of harvesting??

Any insight would be appreciated!!
