Subject: RE: Property Taxes on Farmland... A case FOR public schools

Northeast Nebraska
Why can a private school educate a child for $15,000 a year, but the public schools are $30,000 per child per year? Bus transportation and special needs students do not account for doubling the expense.

Plainview is trying to pass a 32 million dollar bond for renovations. Are you kidding me? Are they going to educate these children in the Taj Mahal? Over regulation has inflated all expenses for these structures, and it’s disgusting.

Public schools can’t teach kids to save, because they haven’t spared a penny from their budgets ever, and when repairs need made, the account is dry. Spend every penny, every year, and then ask the tax payers for more
