I totaly understand people from minnesota defending him and his childish behavior. Defaulting to "youre just jealous" An overwhelming number of these personalities seem to emerge from Minnesota...especially on a per capita basis. (all about farming, Millenial farmer..hi tech farmer.. etc. ) Which raises a more delicate theory: perhaps this isn’t new behavior at all, but rather inherited pressure finding a modern outlet. I know many wildly successful minnesota farmers who are humble to a fault. Generations of stoic, practical, deeply reserved people...folks who built farms, survived tough growing seasons, and considered “pretty good” the highest form of praise don’t just disappear. That emotional restraint doesn’t vanish; it compresses. It waits. And eventually, it re-emerges not as quiet competence, but as its opposite. As a need to narrate the obvious and react to the familiar as though it’s astonishing. Cultures built on repression and forced humility have a habit of producing people who mistake arrogance for self-expression
