I’m surprised that your post didn’t include the fact the property taxes in Iowa have managed to get funneled to private schools. Thanks Kim reynolds.

I agree, Mike. Although property tax is only a portion of the funding that provides for private schools, it does empower families to leave underperforming public schools and move towards an educational facility free from some of the bureaucracy, staffing, and curriculum controls. More competition and options can be a good thing.
