Northwest Iowa | Do what you need to do for your bottom line but just because the top is dry and they make dust doesn't mean it's fit to plant. Don't know your soil conditions there of course. On my farm if I absolutely have to plant too wet I'd rather do it notill into soil with structure than into worked ground with a dry crust and mush in the seed zone that will turn to concrete after planting too wet. | |
