Subject: RE: Who's given up on notill?

I came out of college think no-till or minimum till (specifically VT) was the way of the future. Those insurance checks i received in 2019 and 2020 for production loss and prevent plant, not to mention the mess the land turned into, was a rude awakening for that. At this point, the only way true continuous no-till can work is with drainage. Be it tile or surface drainage. There's just too many potholes, sloughs, and gumbo soil here to make it work without proper drainage.
