I sold my hogs to Nima ranch for the last 12 years that I farrowed. Thats awesome. Not many get to experience what good pork tastes like anymore. It’s a premium product not able to be mass produced. A few years ago I got a nice bull elk, and had most of it ground into burger, wife canned the rest. She mixed the elk burger in one third portions with good local locker hamburger, and ground pork. Half pound patties on the Traeger in August with fresh garden lettuce, tomatoe and onion, and couple ears of sweet corn. It really doesn’t get much better. |
