Subject: RE: 8210T Hydraulic Oil Level Flashing

I was having similar issues with my 8100 tractor on 1770CCS Planter. Would give oil level warning and cut the scv function but not set a code. Found this thread

Hope the link works. And changed the bias piston on my pump. Seems to have cured it. Had to run to Milan yesterday and get it myself as only two dealers in whole US had one on hand. If you have that on the pump, its easy to screw it out and inspect. Does not make a huge mess at all. Takes a regular 1 1/4 socket (impact socket too thick) and thread it out of pump. The chrome finish on the piston was worn off and was starting to get scored, which seems to allow it to wedge in and bind up. Not sure if this applied to your tractor or not but it saved me a lot of money and time vs draining oil or replacing the whole pump. Good luck.
