Subject: Ag Talk timing out for new posts

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Lately I've been having problems uploading new posts and sometimes edits or replies to previous posts. The system "spins" its wheels as indicated by the rotating icon on top of my Win 11 computer.

I often receive the following message:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forums/thread-post.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

The strange thing about this is that sometimes the post or reply has loaded and is present. Other times not. Sometimes I will repost and get duplicate listings to which I go in and delete one of them.

It seems that once I have gotten past this initial "time out" in a session that subsequent posts or replies react almost instantly as they did in the past.

It almost seems that once I have "passed the test" then I'm considered OK and allowed to post or edit rapidly as in the past. This is quite but not completely consistent.

I do have some software on my end that may be causing this delay. I've gotten to the point of making an "introductory" post to "get accepted" and then coming back and edit it.

Anyone else experienced anything like this. It has been happening for a while but has seemed to be getting worse.

Later edit: the above post was accepted immediately without the time delay that I was complaining about. Possibly this is because I have been "accepted" in this session.
