| humblefarmer - 5/9/2026 06:33 What happened to basic supply and demand? Beef supply is down, beef prices are high. Yet the consumer continues to go eat a steak in town, until they literally can’t. I’m guessing they will give up steak before gasoline and Starbucks.
There's a very long list of things that will take priority over buying beef if/when push comes to shove. Many of them are purchased at the grocery store on a very regular basis.
