Malta, Illinois | I hear ya. What you point out would seem to suggest that beef, or at least certain cuts, is becoming a luxury item for people. I know how some of those folks live and I cannot fathom the amount of money some of them drop in an evening out. It is their money and they can do with it what they want. By the same token, I cannot believe how much money my wife and I spend for an evening out compared to 20 or 30 years ago. It is gross but nobody is holding a gun to our heads and making us go. It is a choice and something we enjoy albeit not nearly as often as we used to. Part of that is just getting older and not going out as much. | |
