It really has to be a consideration for shoppers.
As a long time but former pork producer , I use pork for almost everything.
Same , I like ground beef but our go to meat is pork . Prefer pork loin ,ham, chops,kielbassa,pulled pork over beef. Just not a steak person. And if one is on a fixed income you can buy 3-4x the protein as chicken or pork
Glad cow-calf guys are finally getting paid for there work
Lastly we find a good butcher shop or Costco is a lot better than butchering our own animals as we can buy the cuts we like and not have a freezer full of hocks,ect. |
