| On broken off bolts on farm machinery.
From the picture, I assume it’s in the center?
We take a flat washer with a hole the same size as broken bolt and wire weld it to the broken bolt. We then weld a nut to the flat washer ( I’ve seen guys use short bolts but they’re hard to get straight) and then use a cordless impact to zip out the bolt.
With lock-tight on the bolt, you’ll want to impact it pretty soon after welding as the heat from welding should release it. So, you’ll have to be pretty organized when you start.
I think using the impact and the heat should help a lot in your case. But I’m not sure how to hook the ground from your wire welder….maybe the flat washer somehow.
Of course you’ll want to cover the open motor somehow.
