May have missed it, but no mention of what corn head you're following.
I used to envy the guys with the old Deere corn heads that left the stalks standing; not so many of them left, I thought they made a perfect no-till seedbed.
Back first year of 750 john deere drill introduction it was perfect behind a 444 cornhead-best was behind a open roll new idea cornpicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
