Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The procedure that AVP Matt suggests where the Steer Command ties into the 9 pin connector with the various unlocks is how my 8310R is setup.
Installation suggestion. Since an Ag Leader cable needs to tie into the 9 pin connector on the right window, it sticks up and is sort of "in the way". My installer temporarily removed the trim and removed the screws holding the 9 pin connector in the trim. He then connected the Ag Leader cable to it and routed the cable under the side panel. He placed an empty 9 pin connector with a cap in the trim piece and reinstalled it. This covered the hole and the connection to the Ag Leader is then hidden below the trim making for a neater installation.
Should the Ag Leader steering get removed, it will be easy to move the OEM connector back to its original location. |
